Quail eggs

Quail eggs are alkaline in nature, meaning they do not leave an acidic effect on the body. The body is better able to oppose disease when it is alkaline. Quail eggs are low in carbohydrates and LDL, but high in delicious protein. Therefore, it is a good glandular and circulatory system food. It has been said, body builders’ prefer Quail eggs over chicken eggs because the protein content is higher. Protein is essential for muscle repair and growth.
Quail eggs have more nutritious benefits. They are rich in vitamin A, B12 and B6, magnesium, potassium and iron. In addition to anti-oxidants and essential fatty acids, Quail eggs have been used historically to enhance brain function by improving memory and concentration.
You can find Quail eggs at most farmers markets, but always call first because Quail eggs are hard to find. You can cook Quail eggs in recipes that call for eggs, or just by themselves. However, they are tinier than chicken eggs, so you have to be careful when transporting them home. Be sure to staple the lid down so the eggs don’t fall out the carton.
