Acne is a very embarrassing.  Those who are bestowed with breakout of acne will definitely concur with me.  Well there is hope, as honey can come to your rescue in curbing this problem. Honey plays an imperative role in treatment of acne.   Acne is caused by the buildup of oil and dirt and since honey absorbs impurities from the pores on the skin, it is an ideal cleansing agent.  Honey also is a natural antiseptic and soothes and heals your skin.   Many women use honey to treat pimples.
When you buy honey, make sure you buy raw honey.  Raw honey gives better results than regular honey.  Raw honey has all its beneficial values intact because it is unfiltered.   Organic honey is also a very good choice.
Honey can be applied directly to your skin.  Honey does not dry, so use a thin layer so that it does not drip all over your neck.    It can be left on for thirty minutes or longer, however, please do a skin test to make sure you are not allergic to it.  Apply a little to your jaw and leave it for thirty minutes and if there is no reaction, then your skin has given you a go-ahead signal to apply it to your face.   One done and left on for thirty minutes, wash it off with lukewarm water and dab you face dry.  Be gentle don’t rub your face, you might irritate your acne.
